Hello! I’m Shawnrey—a sensual embodiment coach, bestselling author, dancer-choreographer, and artist’s muse.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve helped thousands of people reclaim their bodies and their power. I’m passionate about helping recovering perfectionists and people pleasers—especially women who look put-together on the outside but secretly crave more. More joy. More freedom. More fire. Because that was me too.
I grew up trying to be the good girl. I followed all the rules, worked hard, did what was expected… and still felt like something was missing. After a traumatic experience with someone I trusted, I lost my voice completely and spiraled into depression. Then, something unexpected saved me. Dance.
Dance became my lifeline. The first place I could express all the rage, grief, shame, and power I didn’t have words for. For me, dance was not just performance—it was my healing and awakening.
Since then, I’ve spent over 20 years guiding people back to themselves through movement, writing, sensuality, and self-expression. I’ve performed on stages (even stripping on America’s Got Talent), am a nude art model, my choreography has over 4 million views, and I have helped thousands of people feel more alive in their bodies and creative in their lives.
When I finally sat down to write my book, I couldn’t do it the traditional way. The schedules, the structure, the pressure—it shut me down. I had to find a new way. A more embodied way. I started dancing with my writing, letting my body lead the words. That’s how I wrote Sensual Intelligence: The Lost IQ, and became a #1 Amazon bestseller.
Now I teach others how to do the same—not just in writing, but in life. I created The Sensual Creatrix because I believe your body holds the wisdom you’ve been looking for.
